Dr. Lorraine Boykin

BIOGRAPHY

Professor Dr. Lorraine Boykin holds a doctorate in Science Education with a focus in Nutrition from Columbia University. She has three masters' degrees and several post doctoral certificates. Her renowned contributions to Nutrition and Humankind have merited six honorary doctoral degrees of which three are from the Open International University for Complementary Medicines. Her expertise in Nutrition has taken her numerous times locally, nationally, and internationally to make presentations and to be honoured. Her work in Nutrition has been extensive in Metropolitan New York and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Her publications in Nutrition are extensive. Currently Dr. Boykin serves as tenured full professor and department chairperson of Community Health and Human Services at Saint Joseph's College in New York. She is a retired full professor from Hunter College of the City University of New York, and she has taught at twelve institutions of higher learning in New York, including graduate programs at New York University, New York Medical College, C.W. Post of Long Island University, Brooklyn College, and Hunter College.
