Original Studies:

Use of c-VEST to assess hemodynamics in patients with biventricular pacemakers. Study in preparation.

A home intervention program to reduce readmissions and length of stay in congestive heart failure using distant technologies. Study in preparation.

Intermittent B-type natriuretic peptide infusion versus standard therapy in clinically euvolumic patients with elevated BNP levels at time of hospital discharge. Study in preparation.

Hemodynamic effects of milrinone versus B-type natriuretic peptide in heart failure subjects chronically treated with carvedilol. Study in preparation.

Other Interests:

Well versed in creation of databases in windows based programs: This includes successful creation of a specifically designed electronic data base system to replace paper documentation for the management of heart failure, transplant and electrophysiology outpatients.

Complementary and alternative medicines in health care: Areas of successful training include certification in acupuncture, certification as a yoga teacher and diploma in iridology. Areas of considerable exposure include homeopathy and herbal remedies.
